Every frame is hand cut and finished in my studio rather than mass produced, so its wood grain is genuinely one of a kind. "On the Edge of Time" is about standing where the pace changes. The way ahead is too far and too pale to be hurried, and everything close by holds still, as if it has all the time it needs. The stones have had ages to settle into their places. The grass keeps its own counsel. You are only passing through, and for once that feels like enough. It is a small painting for someone who likes to stand still for a moment before the next thing, and to feel how patient the world can be.
